SPECIAL EDUCATION
Lyme School's Special Education Department consists of three Special Education teachers, the Special Services Director, and support staff. The Special Education department provides support and services to students who are found eligible under state and Federal guidelines.
GEOFF TOMLINSON
I am so excited to have accepted the position as Director of Student Services for Lyme School District. Everyone has been so warm and welcoming. I have spent the past 22 years in New Hampshire public education. I started as a Paraeducator, spent four years in alternative education for students with significant behavioral and emotional challenges, was a high school English teacher and special education case manager for 13 years and for the past five years, I was the Asst. Principal/Coordinator of Special Education at the Hanover Street School in Lebanon. My wife and I bought a house last July in Lebanon and we have two boisterous, precocious kids, Michael who is nine (my step son), and Jaina who turned two in April. I look forward to working with faculty, staff, and families to ensure all students receive the help and support they need to find success in their learning.

SARAH MCBRIDE
I am a Special Educator for grades K-3. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach to literacy and am an associate in the Orton-Gillingham Academy of Practitioners and Educators. I received my teaching certification in Elementary Education and Special Education from Granite State College and my Bachelor's degree in English from St. Olaf College in Minnesota. I live in Lyme with my husband and our two children, Evie and Christopher, who also attend Lyme School. In my free time I enjoy running, hiking, biking, reading, and crocheting.
STEPHANIE KOCUREK
I am the Middle School Special Educator and this is my second year at Lyme School. I previously spent 11 years working at a local Middle/High School in Vermont. I work closely with the Middle School staff providing additional support to students on a 504 plan or Individualized Education Program. I received my Masters in Special Education at Grand Canyon University. I live in Grafton, NH with my husband and our three children (Natalie, Nathaniel, and Naomie). In my free time I enjoy working as an Assistant Cook at Camp Billings on Lake Fairlee, kayaking, and walking/hiking with my dog Boo.
