Welcome to the Lyme School website! We are a small school of approximately 200 students. Lyme students attend kindergarten through eighth grade at the Lyme School and choose a secondary school from among those in neighboring towns. Lyme School is a school where teachers stay because it is the kind of community where we, as teachers, have always dreamt of teaching. We have enthusiastic, conscientious, articulate and kind students and a very supportive and involved community.

As a community, we commit to creating a safe and inclusive school environment for all students, staff, and families. We embrace diversity and acknowledge our charge to deliver an equitable educational experience for all students. Our role as educators is to provide opportunities for engagement, curiosity, and growth for both our students and ourselves. Our aim is to prepare our Lyme School students to enter a diverse world with an understanding of themselves and others as individuals, recognizing the value and importance of different identities and experiences. We hope our students will be poised leaders of change for good in regards to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
