The Damren/Girdwood advisory has begun a food and other necessity drive to benefit the Haven. The Haven is a local shelter in White River Junction, VT that offers housing , food, and resources for those who have displaced and have a need for food and household items during a time of transition.. This drive began on November 15 and will last until December 21. Collection hours are 7:45-8:00am in the main lobby. So far, the donations have been incredibly generous and we could not be more grateful.
Items needed include:
*pasta, rice, peanut butter, jelly, canned vegetables, soup, etc.
* shampoo, soap, toothpaste, tooth brushes, etc.
Our advisory has taken great pride in helping our larger community as we believe that extending ourselves to help others is very important and reminds us that everyone can do their part.
