In 6th grade Humanities the students are answering the essential questions: When, why, and how people first migrated to the Americas? The students began by learning about the geography of the Americas. From there, students read information articles about its first known inhabitants. While reading informational text, students learned how to annotate and find evidence and conclusions that supported the different theories.
