The Kindergartners have begun a new science unit called, "From Seed to Plant." The first step was to work with a partner and sort a pile of "seeds" into seeds and non-seeds (see photo). Some are a bit tricky (hint: zinnia seeds!). The other tricky part was working with a partner to do this sorting, a skill that can be challenging in K. (And beyond!) Next, we'll be planting in an indoor garden to see what sprouts and what doesn't!
